Sadly Autism is still something so many people can not understand. It is a very important topic to discuss. I had a student in my class with Aspergers syndrome and I was one of the few teachers that was able to get through to him. He really was a the most enjoyable student I ever had. He brought me so much joy. He taught me so much about being a teacher and a human being.
