Thank you tuning into another S.T.E.M. Episode on the Naptime Is Sacred Podcast. This is part 4 and Masha Allah it was so fun speaking with Sana Ahmed. We met ages ago when she came to Dallas to take the Bayyinah program and she shared her story with us on the podcast.
Sana was born and raised in Springfield, Ohio. she has lived there her entire life except for the 10 months that she went to the Bayyinah Dream Program to study Arabic. Sana graduated from Wittenberg University in 2015 with a Major in Education for middle-childhood Math and Science and a Minor in Mathematics. Currently, she is pursuing Masters in Educational Leadership and will graduate in the Spring of 2018 insha'Allah! She also finished her second year of teaching 5th-grade math and she will begin a new job at a STEM Academy teaching 8th-grade math in the fall. In her free time, she tries to do a lot of interfaith work in her community.
